CONFIGURATION CONTROL METHOD OF STRAND ERECTION IN SUSPENSION BRIDGE USING SAG SENSITIVITY BASED ON DIFFERENTIAL-RELATED EQUATIONS

PURPOSE: A catenary shape controlling method of a suspension bridge cable is provided to promptly and accurately control the installation shape of a suspension bridge cable by producing the length of a stress field using sag sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A catenary shape controlling method of a suspension bridge cable comprises the following steps: calculating sag sensitivity according to the length variation of a stress field which is related to a sag variation and a stress field value variation; measuring a sag value while temporarily building a cable; calculating an adjustment length of a cable stress field using the sag sensitivity and the difference between the designed and measured values of sag; and pulling or hanging the cable according to the adjustment length of the cable stress field.
