The underbody panel (10) has two covering parts (12.1,12.2), which are extended in a common horizontal plane (14) with a predetermined distance to a road surface (16). The covering parts are connected with each other in an overlapping region (18) that is extended in a vehicle longitudinal direction (X). The overlapping region is guided away from the horizontal plane to the road surface. The overlapping region is extended in a depression (20) of the underbody panel.
