PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an aluminum bearing insert for a lower crank case of an engine is provided to easily mold a bearing insert by hot-forging preform within a predetermined temperature range after preheating the preform and a forging mold. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an aluminum bearing insert for a lower crank case of an engine includes: a step(S10,S20) of manufacturing preform corresponding to the shape and size of a bearing insert by molding molten metal manufactured from a melted aluminum alloy composite; a step(S30,S40) of manufacturing the bearing insert by hot-forging the preform heated at a predetermined temperature; and a step(S50,S60) of trimming a flash outwardly protruding from the bearing insert when the preform is hot-forged, and then finishing with grinding the bearing insert using a short blaster.
