PURPOSE: A group time space circulation delay reception method in a MIMO-OFDM(Multiple Input Multiple Output- Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system and a device thereof are provided to effectively maximize a diversity gain and a multiplexing gain. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(210) receives a G-STCD(Group-Space Time Cyclic Diversity) signal combined with a block of an SM(Spatial Multiplexing) signal from a transmission end. A separation unit(220) separates the block of the STBC signal and the block of the SM signal from the received G-STCD signal. A detecting unit(230) individually detects the separated STBC signal and the separated STBC signal. A merging unit(240) merges the detected STBC signal and the detected SM signal.
