A gap filler to retransmit a television signal in indoor environments is described. The gap filler includes: a filtering section (102); input and output detectors (107, 109); a power amplifier section (104); a microprocessor (108) receiving parameters detected by the detectors (107, 109) and controls the amplifier section (104) on the basis of such parameters; and an antenna (111).
