PURPOSE: An automatic skinning and appearance restoring device of a dynamic object and a method thereof are provided to automatically generate an intrinsic mesh model without geometric correction by using multiview image information including only appearance information of the dynamic object. CONSTITUTION: An image capturing unit(200) generates a multiview image of a dynamic object, multiview silhouette information, and a primary globally fitted standard mesh model based on a dynamic image object and a standard mesh model. A 3D image restoring unit(300) generates an NURBS-based intrinsic mesh model in the dynamic object about the primary globally fitted standard mesh. A data output unit(400) generates and outputs animation data and a final intrinsic mesh model.
