PURPOSE: An emusicon providing system of a chatting program and a method thereof are provided to easily form a social consensus between interlocutors by playing music matched with text and context according to the input of the text and the context. CONSTITUTION: A first chatting operating unit(10) executes emusicon corresponding to text or context in a chatting program. A second chatting operating unit(70) receives the emusicon of the first chatting operating unit. An emusicon providing unit(50) stores the emusicon by matching the emusicon with the text or context. A chatting service unit(30) provides the chatting program for data transceiving between the first operating unit, a second chatting operating unit, and the emusicon providing unit.
