A tower building game uses column or support pieces 4 and question cards 1. Prior to play, a tower is constructed by successively placing question cards 1 as platforms on sets of columns 4 to construct a vertical, multi-platform tower. During play, players attempt to remove columns from the lower platforms of the tower and place them upon the topmost platform such that additional question card platforms may be added to the tower, the aim for each player being to strategically destabilise the tower without toppling it. Removal and placement of columns may be dependent upon successfully answering questions borne on the additional question cards. Players may accrue points, with the winner being decided by number of points accrued before the tower collapses. In a preferred embodiment the question cards have questions on one side (not shown), and column placement indicia 2 on the other side. The questions and indicia may be colour-coded to the column pieces, with colour-coded dice (not shown) used to determine which question a player should answer and consequently which colour of column should be moved upon successfully answering the question.
