PURPOSE: A SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply) control apparatus is provided to use a digital pulse width modulator of a new switched-capacitor delay technique which does not need to consider a dynamic response characteristic by high operating frequency, a large area and a closed loop control mode, thereby providing the SMPS control apparatus having similarity with a result of open loop control using low operating frequency. CONSTITUTION: A SMPS control apparatus(100) includes a comparator(110), a clock generator(130), a digital control unit(160), and a digital pulse width modulator(170). The comparator outputs different state signals according to a result of comparing output voltage of a SMPS and reference voltage. The clock generator generates switching frequency of the SMPS and internal chip operating frequency. The digital control unit determines a current cell to be on or off according to a state signal inputted from the comparator. The digital pulse width modulator determines a duty width of a digital pulse width modulating signal by determining charging and discharging time of an internal capacitor based on a current amount by the current cell.
