PURPOSE: A pin insertion device for a caterpillar link is provided to prevent damage to an insertion device, a pin, a rod, and a link by changing an angle of the insertion device and the rod for inserting the pin into the caterpillar link. CONSTITUTION: A pin insertion device for a caterpillar link comprises a connection unit(10) and a rod(20). The connection unit is formed at one end of an insertion device(1) for inserting a pin into the caterpillar link. The rod pushes the pin into the link with operation of the insertion device and comprises an insertion body. The insertion body is inserted into the connection unit to prevent damage to a rod or the link due to overpressure when the insertion device is operated.
