SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SIMULATING CONVERTER PROCESS

PURPOSE: A converter process simulation system and a method thereof are provided to prevent waste of costs, productivity degradation of a steel continuous casting process due to steel continuous casting converter process of extrinsic molten steel, a delivery delay of product and a personal accident by simulating a converter process in advance under the environment the same as an actual converter process prior to a converter process. CONSTITUTION: A simulation model of a converter process is stored into a model storage module(S300). An operational value for converter process data and operating various instruments required for a converter process through an interface module(S301). A simulation execution module performs simulation of a converter process by operating the simulation model stored in the model storage module based on the converter process data and the operational value inputted by the interface module(S302). A converter process data storage module stores various converter process data generated by operation of the simulation by the simulation execution module(S303). A visualization module visualizes a simulation execution procedure of the converter process by the simulation execution module and displays in real time(S304).
