The frequency converter has a metallic base portion which is provided for attachment to an attachment surface and grounded. A motherboard over the metallic base portion, is grounded. A conductive coupling portion (20) pivotable about a pivot axis, is provided at the metallic base portion so as to establish connection of the ground with an adjacent frequency converter. The conductive coupling portion is provided with recess for embracing a bolt shank of an attachment screw of the adjacent frequency converter. An independent claim is included for frequency converter arrangement.
