The present invention provides a food package and a method of encasing food pieces individually wrapped with sheet wrappers in a package container, wherein the food pieces are prevented from experiencing a heat shock when the food pieces individually wrapped with the sheet wrappers are fixed to the package container with a hot-melt adhesive. In the food package (1), the sheet wrappers (3) individually wrapping the food pieces (2) each have a bonding fin (19) extending from a longitudinal end of the food piece. The individually wrapped food pieces (2) are arranged on an interior wall (51) of the package container (4), and the bonding fins (19) for the respective food pieces (2) are sequentially arranged in adjacent relation.
