PURPOSE: A power control device of an electronic device and a method thereof are provided to prevent influences on a lifespan of the device in an operation of the device by supplying power to the device when the temperature is higher than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION: An electronic device(110) receives operating power through a main power line. A temperature and power control unit(140) senses the temperature of the electronic device or the temperature of surroundings. A relay(150) blocks power for the electronic device according to a control signal. A heater(120) increases the temperature of the electronic device or the temperature of surroundings according to the control of the temperature and power control unit. A power supplier(130) supplies power to the heater. The power supplier applies the control signal to the relay.
