PURPOSE: A method for changing a battery of an electronic bicycle is provided to change the battery to a charged battery before the completed discharge of the battery by periodically confirming the battery state through a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal(200) receives the battery state information from a battery(100) of an electronic bicycle. The portable terminal extracts the current location information and calculates the maximum moving distance according to the battery state information. The portable terminal delivers the information of the portable terminal, the current location information, and the maximum movement distance to a central management server(400) and receives a location information list of a battery exchange center located within the maximum moving distance from the central management server.
