摘要 PURPOSE: A data storage method using a flash memory when an EEPROM(Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) fails in an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) and a storage device thereof are provided to store new data, which is stored in a RAM(Random Access Memory), in a second non-volatile memory when the new data, which is stored in the RAM, is not stored in the EEPROM, thereby preventing a loss of the new data. CONSTITUTION: A RAM(210) stores generated data while driving software in an ECU. An EEPROM(220) stores the data stored in the RAM. A data storage sensing unit(240) checks whether or not the data, which is processed in the RAM, is stored in the EEPROM per storage attempt or a constant cycle. When the data is not stored in the EEPROM, a second memory(230) stores the data which is processed in the RAM instead of the EEPROM.
