PURPOSE: An oil level gauge for a vehicle is provided to reduce a work time for inspecting oil by holding the oil inside a gauge tube for facilitating to measure the color and amount of oil. CONSTITUTION: An oil level gauge for a vehicle comprises a hanging knob(20), a gauge tube(30), a moving part(50), and a plug member(60). The hanging knob hangs on the entrance(12) of an oil pan(10). The gauge tube comprises a moving space(32) inside, is molded into a transparent material, and is extended to the inside of the oil pan in the hanging knob. The moving part moves along the inside of the gauge tube. The plug member moves along with the moving part and closes the lower side of the gauge tube for restricting the movement of oil.
