PURPOSE: A space simulator is provided to reduce costs and risks caused by discharging low-temperature LN2 because cooling water for cooling a low vacuum pump and a helium compressor is cooled by the LN2 discharged from the space simulator. CONSTITUTION: A space simulator comprises a shroud(110), an LN2 storage tank(150), a low vacuum pump(130), a low temperature pump(120), a helium compressor(121), a cooling water tank(140), and a cooling device(160). LN2 is injected to the shroud so that the inside of a heat vacuum chamber(100) can be an ultralow-temperature space. The LN2 storage tank supplies the LN2 to the shroud. The low vacuum pump makes the inside of the heat vacuum chamber to ultralow temperature. The helium compressor supplies cooled and compressed helium to the low-temperature pump. The cooling water tank supplies cooling fluid for cooling the low vacuum pump and the helium compressor.
