PURPOSE: A search service providing device and a method thereof are provided to expose a conditional search word in case an input search word has an error and there is no conversion search word, and in case an input search word satisfies a fixed condition when checked if it satisfies the fixed condition. CONSTITUTION: A search service providing device(100) receives an input search word from a terminal(200)(S210). The search service providing device determines if there is an error in the input search word received from the terminal(S220). If there is no error in the input search word, the search service providing device does not suggest a separate conversion search word or conditional search word(S230). If there is an error in the input search word, a conversion search word generation part determines whether the input search word is in a second storage part, in other words, whether a conversion search word exists(S240). If a conversion search word exists in the second storage part, the search service providing device suggests the conversion search word(S250). If a conversion search word does not exist in the second storage part, a condition determination part of the search service providing device determines whether the input search word satisfies a fixed condition(S260). If the input search word satisfies the fixed condition, the search service providing device suggests a conditional search word(S270). If there is no conditional search word satisfying the fixed condition, a conditional search word generation part of the search service providing device does not suggest the conditional search word(S280).
