PURPOSE: A method for transceiving images between docked terminals and a docking system using the same are provided to minimize an error and a delay in an operation by maximally granting a control right for an HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface) interface. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal determines a connection with a second terminal through an HDMI interface(S830). When the connection with the second terminal is determined, the first terminal receives information about the second terminal(S840). The first terminal provides an image to the second terminal based on the information about the second terminal(S850). When the reception of the image is determined, the second terminal activates devices related to an image display(S860). The image is provided to the second terminal when the devices are in an inactive state in which the image is not displayed on a screen of the second terminal.
