PURPOSE: A toxic gas adsorption composition, a gas filter including the same, a manufacturing method thereof, and an air purifier including the gas filter are provided to be used in the adsorption of harmful components from the human body by having excellent adsorption activity to toxic gas such as volatile organic compounds. CONSTITUTION: A toxic gas adsorption composition comprises at least one extract selected from Coptidis Rhizoma, Pellrodendron amurense Rupr., and Polygonum indigo extracts as an active ingredient. In the case of a mixed extract including Coptidis Rhizoma, Pellrodendron amurense Rupr., and Polygonum indigo, the extraction is performed after mixing 25-35 weight% of Coptidis Rhizoma, 25-35 weight% of Pellrodendron amurense Rupr., and 35-45 weight% of Polygonum indigo. Said extract is extracted by using at least one solvent among water, ethanol, methanol, butanol, n-hexane, n-heptane, and dimethyl sulfoxide. |
