PURPOSE: A height adjustment device is provided to facilitate the using thereof by easily folding an extension pole or by expanding the height of a pole, and to freely adjust the expansion and fixing of the height as desired by a user. CONSTITUTION: A height adjustment device includes a control button(100) which is installed on the upper end; a main pole(200) which is installed inside with a compressed spring for height adjustment in a longitudinal direction; an auxiliary pole(300) which is inserted into or withdrawn from the main pole with a fitting hole formed by penetrating the lower side where a pulling hole is formed by penetrating the upper side of the fitting hole, installed with a movable piston which moves vertically along the inner circumferential surface where a fixing button is installed on one side of the movable piston to be clamped with the fitting hole and pulling hole by the vertical movement of the movable piston; an extension pole(400) which is foldable or extendable.
