PURPOSE: A cleansing composition using PCMX and a method for preparing the same are provided to ensure low risk and to ensure excellent safety and stability. CONSTITUTION: A cleansing composition using PCMX contains 10 parts by weight of the PCMX, 80-120 parts by weight of deionized water, 60-75 parts by weight of potassium hydroxide, 30-45 parts by weight of unsaturated fatty acid, and 80-120 parts by weight of ethanol. A method for preparing the cleansing composition using PCMX comprises: a step of adding potassium hydroxide to deionized water and preparing a first mixture solution(S100); a step of adding the unsaturated fatty acid to the first mixture solution and stirring at room temperature to generate a second mixture solution(S200); a step of adding PCMX to the ethanol and preparing a third mixture solution(S300); and a step of mixing the second mixture solution and the third mixture solution to prepare a fourth mixture solution(S400).
