PURPOSE: A fire detecting device is provided to remarkably reduce malfunction by sensing an exact temperature even in the seasonal variation by including a temperature sensor which senses the surrounding temperature in a constant time interval and a controller which determines fire occurrence by comparing the stored temperature information consecutively. CONSTITUTION: A fire detecting device capable of using a heat sensing diode includes a temperature sensor which senses the surrounding temperature in a constant time interval, and a controller(13) which stores the temperature information which is collected from the temperature sensor and determines fire occurrence by comparing the stored temperature information consecutively. The controller has the following functions: sets a sensing cycle and senses the temperature from the temperature sensor; consecutively stores the temperature information sensed by the temperature sensor; determines as fire occurrence when the temperature varies more than the reference temperature difference by comparing the stored on-time temperature with the previous temperature, and performs a small judgment operation which sends a signal to a fire receiver and generates a fire alert; determines as fire occurrence when the temperature varies more than the reference temperature difference by comparing the initial temperature information and the final temperature information among the stored temperature information by defining a cycle unit, and performs a large judgment operation which sends the signal to the fire receiver and generates the fire alert; and determines fire occurrence by repetitively performing the small judgment operation and the large judgment operation when storing the temperature. |
