PURPOSE: A mobile communication device using a client terminal and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to additionally connect client terminals without changing a host terminal. CONSTITUTION: A host terminal(100) sets a mobile communication signal by connecting a mobile communication network. The host terminal generates a communication channel and a client terminal(200) through local area communication. The host terminal relays the mobile communication signal to the client terminal through the communication channel. The client terminal forms the communication channel by connecting the host terminal with the local area communication. The client terminal receives the mobile communication signal from the host terminal through the communication channel. A control server(400) executes a handover process when a connection problem is generated between client terminals.
