PURPOSE: A heavy duty pneumatic tire is provided to improve a one-sided wear-resistant performance, durability, and ice performance. CONSTITUTION: A heavy duty pneumatic tire(1) comprises a plurality of blocks(5) in a tread part(2). The blocks are sorted into a plurality of main grooves(3) and a plurality of lateral grooves(4). One or more blocks are sorted into two or more block pieces by a single side which spreads along the axial direction of a tire. One or more block pieces comprises a piece which is equipped with one or more pin holes(21). The cross section of the pin hole is shaped into a circle or an ellipse. The pin hole spreads to the inner bottom of the tire in the radial direction of the tire from a wheel tread. |
