PURPOSE: A rack post impact absorption device is provided to absorb an external impact which is applied to a rack post by dispersing the external impact while absorbing the external impact which is generated when the rack post installed in a facility for storing articles collides in the front and the flank sides. CONSTITUTION: A rack post impact absorption device includes a buffer member(220) in which an accommodation groove accommodating a rack post is formed, an external impact which is generated in the collision of the rack post is absorbed in the front and flank sides, and the external impact is dispersed; a fixing main body(210) which includes an insertion hole in which the buffer member is inserted and a clip part in which an elastic force is equipped and is made of synthetic resin or metal material; an impact transmitter which senses an external impact which is applied to the rack post and transmits sensed data; and an impact receiver which transmits analyzed data to a central control room; and an alarm part which informs the position of a damaged rack post to the outside and indicates the serial number of the corresponding rack post.
