METHOD FOR COUNT BASED PASS USING OTPROM

PURPOSE: A transportation pass implementing method using a MAC(Message Authentication Code) function is provided to authenticate a transportation pass using a general memory and an OTPROM(One Time Programmable ROM), thereby preventing the forgery of the transportation pass. CONSTITUTION: A transportation pass(100) includes an OTPROM(110) and a storage unit(120). The storage unit includes pass terminal data(121) and a MAC(122). The OTPROM stores an OTP value. The storage unit stores the pass terminal data and the MAC. The MAC is a result value of a MAC function calculated from the OTP value and pass terminal data. The MAC function is used for authenticating the transportation pass. The MAC is calculated from a terminal(200) and the pass terminal data is data which is stored in the terminal. The transportation pass receives the pass terminal data and MAC from the terminal and stores the pass terminal data and MAC. The terminal includes a processing unit(210) and a storing unit(220). The processing unit authenticates the transportation pass by receiving the OTP value, the pass terminal data, and the MAC from the transportation pass.
