EXAMPLE BASED ERROR DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING WRITING AUTOMATICALLY

PURPOSE: An example-based error detecting system for automatic composition evaluation and a method thereof are provided to suggest an amendment about an error by collecting sentences by natural expressions and analyzing an input sentence based on the sentences. CONSTITUTION: An input sentence separating unit(110) separates a written input sentence into sentences and morphemes and a word class tagging unit(120) tags word classes for the morphemes. An error detecting unit(140) generates a morpheme string bound in a window size for each morpheme. The error detecting unit searches for an example-based index database by each morpheme to detect an error section according to the frequency of morpheme arrangement. The error detecting unit includes an N-gram generating unit, a search unit, a suitability calculating unit, and an error determining unit detecting the error section by comparing a suitability score with a threshold value.
