PURPOSE: An alarm apparatus for self protection is provided to recognize the location where an alarm signal is generated at a remote place by transmitting an alarm signal to the remote place through a remote communication method using compact and low power Zigbee communication. CONSTITUTION: An alarm apparatus for self protection includes a case, an input part, an alarm generation part(210), a Zigbee communication part(220) and a control part(230). The input part is arranged out of the case and comprises a switch and an input button. The alarm generation part is arranged in the case, and generates an alarm signal according to the operation of the switch. The Zigbee communication part is arranged in the case, and is able to recognize the location where the alarm signal is generated through peculiar identification information at a remote place by transmitting the alarm signal and the peculiar identification information of a Zigbee module through a Zigbee communication method. The control part is arranged in the case and releases the generation of the alarm signal by controlling the operation of the alarm generation part when an input value inputted through the input button is equal to a set value.
