PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring bone mineral density of both wrists is provided to detachably install a handle at one side and the other side of a measuring unit, thereby enhancing convenience of measurement. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring bone mineral density comprises an X-ray generating unit which is formed above a main body; an -ray detection unit(140) which is formed below the main body facing the X-ray generating unit; two attaching/detaching grooves which are spaced apart from each other with a fixed distance at one side and the other side of the X-ray detection unit; a handle(200) which has attaching/detaching protrusions on the bottom surface and allows the attaching/detaching protrusions to be attached to and detached from the two attaching/detaching grooves.
