A device (100) is proposed for picking up fruits and other objects from the ground. The device (100) comprises a container (102) which can be rotated about a rotation axis (R) and extending from a first end (102a) to a second end (102b), both lying on the rotation axis (R). The container (102) comprises a plurality of elastic elements (103) of elongated shape, which extend between the first and second end (102a, 102b) so as to allow the objects to be picked up to be housed within the container (102). These elastic, wire-like elements (103) allow the objects to enter the container by means of elastic deformation during the rotation about the axis (R) of the container in contact with the ground. The elastic, wire-like elements (103) are fixed to at least one of the first and second end (102a, 102b) in a removable manner, so as to allow for quick fixing to or disconnection from the end of the container (102). This enables quick and cost-effective assembly and maintenance operations. |
