PURPOSE: A device for obtaining a three-dimensional image inside a vehicle and a method for the same are provided to obtain a high-speed three-dimensional image by radiating an infra-red signal using an electronic projector. CONSTITUTION: A device for obtaining a three-dimensional image inside a vehicle comprises a projector(10), a signal receiving unit(20), a control unit(40), and a memory unit(50). The projector radiates an infra-red signal to the inside of a vehicle. The signal receiving unit receives the infra-red signal reflected from the objects inside the vehicle. The control unit produces the distance data with the objects within the radiation area on the basis of a required time from the radiation point of a signal to the receiving point of the signal. The control unit obtains the three-dimensional image data on the basis of the distance data. The memory unit stores the obtained image data.
