PURPOSE: A food waste container is provided to prevent the outflow of odor by closing a sub-cover when a main cover of the food waste container opens. CONSTITUTION: A food waste container comprises a main body(110), a main cover(120), and a sub-cover(130). The main body receives food waste. The main cover is hinge-coupled to a hinge shaft positioned in one side of the upper end of the main body. The sub-cover is linked to the main cover by a link part(150). Accordingly, the sub-cover shields the upper part of the main body by hinge-rotating according to the lifting motion of the main cover.
