PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a terminal system thereof are provided to include a user interface optimized for leisure activity when an external module is installed. CONSTITUTION: A connecting unit is located in a terminal body. The connecting unit is connected to a plug of an external module for transceiving a signal. When the plug is connected to the connecting unit, a control unit(180) detects identification information of the external module. The control unit generates an execution menu of an application corresponding to the identification information. A display unit(151) displays the execution menu.
