COATING COMPOSITION OF LOW IGNITION PROPENSITY CIGARETTE PAPER AND CIGARETTE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A low ignition propensity cigarette paper coating composition is provided to improve workability of a manufacturing process which improves workability of a manufacturing process of cigarette paper. CONSTITUTION: A low ignition propensity cigarette paper coating composition comprises alpha pregelatinized starch, maltodextrine, and ethanol and additionally comprises a resistant maltodextrine and/or inulin. The weight ratio of the alpha pregelatinized starch and maltodextrine is 1:0.5-1:8.0. The cigarette comprises a cigarette column portion(10); and low ignition propensity cigarette paper which includes a coating portion which surrounds the cigarette column portion. The coating part comprises the alpha pregelatinized starch and maltodextrine.
