PURPOSE: A character model manufacturing method using 3D character data is provided to receive an order for a character from a user in a 3D virtual environment and to manufacture and supply a character model at a low price. CONSTITUTION: A system receives 3D data about a character from a virtual environment server on a 3D character basis. The system gives a thickness to the outer surface of the character by the analysis of the character 3D data. The system transmits to a 3D printer the character 3D data in which the thickness is applied. The 3D printer completes a character model by 3D printing using the character 3D data in which the thickness is applied.
