PURPOSE: A wireless power transmitter and a control method thereof are provided to improve communication quality. CONSTITUTION: A wireless power transmitter(200) includes a power transmission unit(211), a control unit(212) and a communication unit(213). The power transmission unit transmits charging power to a wireless power receiver. The communication unit receives power information of the wireless power receiver. The control unit detects a predetermined event by performing power tracking which adjusts the supplied power according to the power information of the wireless power receiver, and controls to adjust and transmit the supplied power.
