PURPOSE: A customized widget providing system is provided to output a widget related to a webpage displayed in a wired or wireless client, thereby helping a user to use the widget. CONSTITUTION: A client(20) providing a customized widget includes a first widget managing unit(21), a first execution command registering unit(22), a first open page confirming unit(23), a first widget selecting unit(24), a first executed program confirming unit(25), and a first widget displaying unit(26). The first widget managing unit registers information about various widgets and stores and manages the widgets in first widget information DB(27). The first execution command registering unit registers an execution command for executing the widgets stored in the first widget information DB. The first open page confirming unit selects an execution keyword related to an open website on a browser if the browser is displayed in the client of a user. If the execution keyword of the client is confirmed in the first open page confirming unit, the first widget selecting unit selects one widget having the same execution command as the execution keyword by comparing the execution keyword of the client with the execution command of the widgets stored in the first widget information DB. If a program is executed in the client of the user, the first executed program confirming unit confirms executed program information and selects one widget having the same execution command as an execution file name of the executed program. The first widget displaying unit displays the widget selected in the first widget selecting unit or the first executed program confirming unit in one side of the client.
