PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition from a lotus leaf extract and Eriobotrya japonica is provided to have an excellent antimicrobial effect by having a wide sterilizing spectrum and to have low skin irritation. CONSTITUTION: A polyfunctional sterilizing composition comprises a lotus leaf extract and comprises at least two or more selected from a loquat leaf extract, a loquat seed extract, or a loquat tree extract. A cosmetic composition contains 0.01-80 weight% of the leaf extract. The cosmetic composition is extracted by injecting one of water or organic solvent or a mixture thereof into a mixture of two or more selected from 0.01-20 weight% of the leaf extract, 0.01-20 weight% of the loquat seed extract, and 0.01-20 weight% of the loquat tree extract. The cosmetic composition has a natural sterilization, antibiotic, antioxidant, and anti-aging functions. The cosmetic composition has sterilizing and antibiotic activity by nanocapsules, microcapsules, and nanosomes containing a plant extract.
