PURPOSE: A wireless communication method for configuring an RAB(Radio Access Bearer) for an EU(Enhanced Uplink) service and a system thereof are provided to enable an RNC(Radio Network Controller) to control the configuration of an EU RAB according to information collected by EU traffic statistics, EU performance statistics, and RNC. CONSTITUTION: An RNC(106) transmits one or more control signals for configuring a WTRU(Wireless Transmission and Reception Unit)(102). One or more control signals include parameters for configuring each of MAC-d(Medium Access Control for dedicated channel) flows. The parameters include maximum H-ARQ(Hybrid-Automatic Repeat ReQuest) transmission numbers related to the MAC-d flows.
