PURPOSE: Tongs for preventing a user from falling asleep are provided to pull a string of the tongs for grabbing hair of the user when the head falls forward or sideways. CONSTITUTION: Tongs for preventing a user from falling asleep comprise the following: a hole formed on the tongs; and a string connected to the hole. The user connects the string to a beam on a chair higher than the height of the user.
