PURPOSE: A method for selecting spreading time of an airbag cushion when testing collision of a vehicle is provided to shorten time of a collision test by correctly calculating predicting spreading time of the airbag cushion. CONSTITUTION: A method for selecting spreading time of an airbag cushion when testing collision of a vehicle comprises: a step of inputting data as specifications of a device to an airbag control unit(S21); a step of determining whether spreading of the airbag cushion or not by calculating predicting spreading time of the device installed using the data after checking the specification of the device(S23); a step of testing whether spreading of the airbag cushion or not using the vehicle after inputting the data; and a step of checking malfunction of the device.
