OPERATING TEST METHOD OF A SHIP'S AND A OFFSHORE OIL PRODUCTION FACILITIES DELUGE SYSTEM TEST USING A REFRESH WATER

PURPOSE: An operation test method of a deluge system for a ship or an offshore oil production facility is provided to test the operation of a sprinkler on the ship using fresh water, and to prevent the corrosion of equipment and devices by sea water. CONSTITUTION: An operation test method of a deluge system for a ship or an offshore oil production facility using fresh water comprises the following steps: considering the installation location of a sprinkler system testing device; inflowing fresh water into a water tank(10), connecting a main pipe(20) to the water tank, and installing a pump(30) in between the water tank and the main pipe; filling the main pipe with the fresh water for maintaining the uniform amount of pressure inside the main pipe; spraying the fresh water of the water tank through the sprinkler by operating the main pipe; and checking the sprayed water amount and spraying angle.
