PURPOSE: A device for cutting the lateral surface of a lens is provided to smoothly cutting-process the edge of the lateral surface while processing the lateral surface according to the value after realizing the thickness of the lens inside the device. CONSTITUTION: A device for cutting the lateral surface of a lens comprises a lens settling fixing unit(100), a lateral surface cutting control unit(200), a lateral surface cutting unit(300), an edge cutting unit(400), and a dust collecting unit(500). The lens settling fixing unit includes a lens settling unit and a lens lateral surface gripper. The lateral surface cutting control unit senses the position of the lens settled by the lens settling fixing unit and controls the position of the lateral surface cutting unit. The lateral surface cutting unit is positioned to the position which is set by the lateral surface cutting control unit. The edge cutting unit cuts the edge of the lens which is cut by the lateral surface cutting unit. The dust collecting unit collects dust and a cutting chip which is cut by the lateral surface cutting unit and the edge cutting unit. |
