SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME UPDATING OF STEEL MATERIAL INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A real time steel material information updating system is provided to minimize drawing modification work by extracting and nesting the latest steel material information. CONSTITUTION: An ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system(30) stores information about ordered steel materials and steel materials placed by a manager by using a steel material information database(35). A CAD system(10) searches for the ERP system for steel material information, cutting workshop information, and residual material information to apply a change to a database(15). The CAD system requests the latest steel material information and the cutting workshop information to the ERP system according to a request of a user. The CAD system requests the residual material information by using one or more parameters from materials, thicknesses, lengths, collection/production, and cutting workshops.
