ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR

PURPOSE: An electric double layer capacitor is provided to minimize the reduction of capacitance by controlling the voltage difference of an electric double layer capacitor cell with using the resistance difference between a cathode and an anode. CONSTITUTION: An electrode(130) comprises an anode(110) and a cathode(120). A cathode active material(112) is coated on an anode collector(111) to form the anode. An anode active material(122) is coated on a cathode collector(121) to form the cathode. The particle size of the anode active material is different from that of the cathode active material. The difference between the particle size of the anode active material and the particle size of the cathode active material is 3 -10 μm.
