<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a noble metal recovering cartridge filter using chitosan, making it possible to efficiently recover noble metals from acidic solution represented by industrial waste liquid; a method for manufacturing the same; and a method for recovering the noble metal using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The noble metal recovering cartridge filter having a porous core 1 at least one end which is opened and a cartridge filter base material 2 wound around the porous core is characterized in that chitosan derivative is held in the cartridge filter base material.
