The disclosed algorithm generates professional-sounding copy (e.g. to promote a product or service) by selecting from a collection of pre-written words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs, and arranging them according to a pre determined structure, to suit information supplied by a user. E.g. If the user enters information about product feature X, the algorithm randomly selects from a collection of phrases about product feature X, and inserts its selection into the copy. It dynamically varies the structure of the copy and the wording of phrases to suit the unique information supplied by the user, and to ensure that a user may generate copy numerous times, based on the exact same input, and the resultant generated copy will be substantially or completely different each time. It also employs rules to ensure that certain distinctive words and phrases are not unduly repeated in a copy piece. |
