<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine that responds to an environment where an engine installation surface is rotated 360° around a crankshaft, in which man-hours of assembly can be reduced and impact resistance and resistance to vibration of an oil suction path can be ensured. <P>SOLUTION: An oil pan distance piece 20 includes: a connection wall 21 connecting the oil pan with a cylinder block; a gauge hole 22 for inserting an oil level gauge guide into the oil pan and penetrating through the connection wall; a partition wall 23 for partitioning the insides between the cylinder block and the oil pan; a suction path 24 for sucking oil from the inside of the oil pan to an oil pump and penetrating through the partition wall; a return path 25 for returning the oil from the inside of the cylinder block to the inside of the oil pan and penetrating through the partition wall; a check valve 26 for preventing back flow of the oil in the return path; and an oil strainer arranged at an inlet of the suction path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
